The Making Of~~~ calendar

Christmas... 1st thing when people think is deer! I'm using d pen tool to draw the deer. draw the deer is quiet difficult, i draw it separately like nose, horn, eyes, head, body and ears. the most difficult part is drawing the body. many curve place need to adjust, some more don't know why d pen tool keep on point at the wrong place. to color it, i need to use selection tool to select the deer then only i can use live paint bucket to fill in color.

for the Christmas tree, i trace it from a wallpaper which also relate to Christmas. the tree color I'm using the gradient tool to tone the color. i drag d color i need into the tone space and start to adjust the color. the balls on the tree are make by using ellipse tool and color, then select all and group it together.

for the cat, i also use the pen tool. the shape is a bit not correct because the cat is hide behind the deer. for the color, i also use live paint bucket to fill it up.

this is my background, actually it is blue in color with snow. but don't know why after i upload, it become red. I'm using the wings and love as frame. then the background is a rectangle, fill it with tone color which is blue in color.

the snow flake, I'm using lines to draw it out. after i drawing, i drag it into the symbol, so that i can use it on symbol sprayer tool. but i didn't use it because i cant control it. i use copy n paste. for the blur snow, I'm using the radial blur. make it look like it is far.

to make it look nice, i draw a rectangle then use area type tool to put in the date and days. in this area type, tab is not a good thing for me. because it keep on separate the date wrongly. so i decide to do it by using space bar~~ after the date, i place below there.

because the December is not big enough, so i decide to make a clearer December. i use ellipse tool make 2 circle an join them together. then i put the pie corn leaf with cherry and bell on it. i put 12 inside the circle. then fill in color. the most difficult part is draw the pie corn leaf with cherry and bell. i need 2 drawing separately and join them together.

above is a sample for me to get some ideas for my calendar. the santa is cute, with a bag which had repair. this picture is simple and nice, i try to do my calendar simple and nice too.

for my 2nd assignment, i have choose the month of december. December!! of course is merry christmas~~ i like christmas. it feel so warm for me. Although there are no snow in Malaysia, but I still like Christmas. This is because I will receive lots of present from all my relatives. My family members would visit my other relatives during this time. So I could meet up with my other cousins and grandparents. Christmas is an annual holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus.
